Izzy Swims

Heather took Izzy to North Lake to see she if swimming and water in general is a paws up or paws down experience.  I was lucky enough to be asked to come along and snap a few pixs.  As I have mentioned before, Bo and Bandit love the water, but Otto, not so much.  Bo and Bandit doggy paddle perfectly, Otto, not so much.  Bo and Bandit love to go to our North Lake connection (Thank you Stephanie!!), Otto, would be happy to never go in the water again.  
But enough on the boys, let's get back to the little girl.
She walked in just fine....

          But suddenly retreated....

Then she decided to eat the water....

                               
                                  and needed a little coaxing to go in deeper

                                    Then Izzy realized......    "HEY...THIS IS FUN!!!"

                                                      "LOOK!!!! I CAN SWIM"

                                                WAIT FOR ME

Time to find out.......will Izzy jump into the water on her own, off the pier.  Bo does this, though certainly not like those champion water diving dogs that sail 15 ft or longer...but he enjoys it, his way.  Bandit, will flop off the pier into the water, though sometimes he needs a little nudge.  So would Izzy jump????

                            Izzy looked into the water as Heather called to her..."Come on Izzy"

                                                          Closer...and closer...

                                              and then IN!!!   and swim for Heather!  Good Job Iz

                                                    Towel Dry..

                                                  a little sip of water ,,,

                                             

   and we are homeward bound.
 Recap:  What fun.!! Izzy loved the water, and what a hoot watching her experience it.  Next time swimming in a little deeper water, and maybe jumping off the end of the pier!
