I just noticed a few days ago that Otto has started to get a little gray around his muzzle. This took me back to when Otto came to be a part of our family, and it seemed Bandit suddenly got a white muzzle. Did Otto's trouble making days bring added stress to Bandit or was it pre-determined that he would go gray early?
Here is a picture of Bandit probably about 7 years ago
Then around the time Otto came
and now
Here is Otto just a few years ago
and now.
But not all dogs turn gray early, here is Bo about 3 years ago,
and now
a little lighter but not much different.
Maybe it's just that lighter colored coats don't change as much. Graying doesn't always indicate slowing down either. We can put this to the test when Heather and Scott's new puppy makes her appearance in a couple months...watch out boys, there will be a new girl in town to drive you crazy!
